Algebra Tool can be used to solve equations or systems of equations. Type one or more equations into the text box, separated by ';' or '&'. Then click buttons to perform operations. Equations must have one or more '=' characters. The arithmetic operators '+', '-', '*', and '/' are supported. All multiplication must use '*'. Variable names must not begin with a number and may consist of any number of characters in a-z, A-Z, 0-9, or _. Numbers may be written as integers, floating point (decimal) numbers, or scientific notation using the character 'e' as "times 10 to the power of". Space characters (' ') are not allowed in the text box. Algebra Tool is not expected to work in Internet Explorer.
